ABOUT THE DIRECTOR (SAMANTHA WAN):Samantha Wan is a queer Chinese Canadian multi-hyphenate artist — director, writer, and actor. Sam is all about collaboration, weird ideas that work, and representation that actually represents. A three-time Canadian Screen Award nominee, Sam became one of the youngest creators in the country to launch her own comedy TV series with Second Jen. Since then, Sam has continued directing acclaimed television and digital series such as Gangnam Project and Space Janitors, both nominated for Canadian Screen Awards this year. For her impact on the industry and refusal to chill, she was awarded the Trailblazer Award from the Reelworld Film Festival.
